Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti, two Frankfurt based producers and composers, were first noticed with "The Power" in 1989, credited as Benito Benites and John 'Virgo' Garret III. Durron Butler (Turbo B.) was chosen to replace the acapella of Chill Rob G and Penny Ford subsequently became the female vocalist. A re-recorded version of "The Power" was then released and became an international hit. Snap first album "World Power" revealed many other giant hits all sung and co-written by Penny Ford: "The Power" "Oops Up", "Cult Of Snap" and "Mary Had A Little Boy". Afterwards to continue in that vein was evident. Snap! is officially represented on stage by Penny Ford and the new rapper Benjamin Lowe. Snap hit “Rhythm is a dancer” currently revamped in the UK TOP 40 charts. |
